TIMELINE
Please ensure that the email address you provide during checkout is accurate, as this will be used for all communications regarding your order. Please read our complete timeline breakdown here. Please note that timelines are very subjective to how quickly we receive feedback and information from you. If we have to wait for your guest address file and color choices or don’t get prompt feedback, the suggested timeline could be longer, and Sal Studios is not held responsible for this.
USPS & Mailing
Client understands that any smudging of the addresses, mishandling of the invitations or embellishments, including, but not limited to, ripping, tearing, opening, or loss by USPS is not within the control of Sal Studios, and Sal Studios can not be held responsible.
Upon receiving their invitation, guests may accidentally tear or rip embellishments and details, including, but not limited to, envelope liners, wax seals, decorative envelopes, and suite pieces. Any damage done to the suite during mailing and once delivered to its respective guest is not within the control of Sal Studios, and Sal Studios can not be held responsible.
If an invitation is returned as undeliverable due to insufficient funds, incorrect address, address not found, or any other reason, the client understands that he/she has the full capability of re-mailing the invitation by placing the invitation into a larger envelope, addressing the envelope, and re-sending it with the amount of postage USPS suggests. Sal Studios will not re-address and resend invitations returned via USPS directly to the Client.
COLOR
Colors can vary from screen to screen. If you want to see colors in person, I highly recommend ordering a sample. Going through our customization pages will be of huge help as well, as you can click on each color swatch and see a real example. Letterpress ink is manually mixed, which may result in colors that differ from what you expected. Sal Studios cannot be held responsible for color discrepancies.
VARIATIONS
Handmade papers are made by hand. Size, shape, thickness, and color variations may vary from sheet to sheet. We find the imperfections beautiful!
The handmade nature of letterpress will also create slight variations from piece to piece. Any variations are not flaws, but a result of the handcrafted process of working with an ancient printing press. We do our very best to match the colors on our screen as accurately as possible, but cannot guarantee that the printed color will look exactly like the screen color.
REVISIONS
Any revisions after the 2 complimentary rounds is an additional $75.
RUSH ORDERS
If you need your order expedited, you can do so for an additional $285, subject to availability. This includes receiving your first proof in 1-2 business days rather than our typical 3-5, 1 day responses with any rounds of revisions, and printing in 1-2 weeks rather than our typical 2-3 weeks. We will move through your design and printing as fast as we possibly can. This does not include rush shipping.
SHIPPING
All orders have a $25 flat shipping fee for UPS ground shipping. Upgrades are available upon request. Every package will come with a tracking number. If you are international, an invoice for the additional shipping costs will be sent.
COPYRIGHT
All designs, images, artworks and products presented in this website or in the products that you purchase are the sole property of Sal Studios unless indicating otherwise. All artwork, images and designs used during the proofing process are the sole property and copyright of Sal Studios. These designs, images and artworks may not be used for personal use, reproduction, the creation of derivative works, or any other purpose. We retain the right to post your invitations or wedding goods on our website and social media.
ENVELOPE ADDRESSING
Due to the nature of lettering, some addresses or calligraphy styles will be more or less difficult to read when put through USPS. Any address that can not be read by machine will most likely be hand inspected. If the address still can not be delivered, it will be returned to the return address. Vendor is not responsible for resending, reprinting, or reimbursing for invitations or addresses that do not make it to their intended address. As with any mass mailing, you are likely to have 1-3% of your pieces be undeliverable. Please check your address list carefully to ensure all your addresses are correct to minimize this effect. Please see Vendors specification on prepping your address list. Addresses will be printed exactly as they appear on provided list from Client. Vendor will not make etiquette or spelling corrections.
RETURNS
Unfortunately, the custom nature of our products doesn't allow us to accept refunds or exchanges. It is our goal that the client is satisfied with our product, so for this reason, multiple approvals will be required during the design process. A final approval form will be sent once you are happy with the design. Once we receive your signed approval, any changes will have additional fees. If there is a printing error made on our part, we will either reprint the paper goods or provide a credit for the misprint. If there is an error with the wording approved by the client, the costs of reprinting must be covered by the client.
HANDMADE PRODUCTS
Handmade paper, hand assembled wax seals, and any other piece of your invitations that is specified as "handmade" or "hand assembled", may vary due to its handmade nature.
